I would like to thank all the Veterans out there... including my hubby :)...for their past, present and future service to our wonderful Country. As we all know, freedom is not free.

Speaking of Veterans, I have set my DVR to record John McCain on Jay Leno, November 11, 2008. It is his first post-election TV appearance.

Missouri State Volleyball Senior Night

Macy's teams up with Make-A-Wish

Bring a stamped letter addressed to "Santa At The North Pole" to Macy's right here in Springfield, MO. They have a special Santa letterbox, and for each note received, they will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1,000,000. Letters will be brought to the Post Office for mailing to Santa. Downtown Springfield Square Debate Continues
November 12th, 2008 7:04 PM

The Springfield City Council plans to vote on the controversial new proposal to close the downtown square at 11 p.m., 2 1/2 hours earlier then it closes now. The vote will take place during the November 25 meeting.
