This years Holiday Campaign raised $536,322.26 which was 2 percent more then the target goal of $525,000. Pretty amazing considering the economic times. I think this speaks volumes for people in our community!

Find treasures in comfort this weekend at the Greater Springfield Garage Sale from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Head down to the Discovery Center on January 25 from 1-5 to welcome the Year of the Ox. The annual Chinese New Year celebration includes crafts, live music, a kung-fu demonstration, and presentations such as "How to use chopsticks". Another highlight will be artist Hing Wah Hatch writing children's names in Chinese calligraphy.
