Today is the last day for operations at Celebration City. They are closing their doors after 6 seasons. The owners intend to redevelop the property into another attraction, possibilities include retail, dining and an aquarium. Multi-park passes will now include Silver Dollar City and White Water and the prices have dropped, $118 for adults and $98 for kids (formally $135 & $125).

A new and improved (widened) Republic Road is scheduled to open today at 10 a.m. The new U.S. 60 eastbound off-ramp is also opening. Be aware of the new traffic signal at Republic Road and Harvard. All construction should be complete by Thanksgiving. Good news for South-Side residents!
